Amanda Holden, 49, has caused quite the stir on social media during the coronavirus lockdown. Her bikini snaps have taken Instagram by storm as her revealing swimwear selfies in her back garden have garnered a fair few admirers.

Sometimes they’re funny, but sometimes I weigh them up and I think, ‘Hmm, no’

And while the blonde beauty is no stranger to the odd flirtatious comment from a lustful fan, there are some remarks that are a little too much and she tries to avoid reading.

“I try not to look at all of the comments,” she revealed to The Sun.

“Sometimes they’re funny, but sometimes I weigh them up and I think, ‘Hmm, no.'”

But the somewhat suggestive observations won’t stop the Britain’s Got Talent star from doing her thing.

“I’m happy to keep putting them out there. They are for my own amusement really,” she giggled.

Although she’s at home like everyone else, Amanda admitted that being holed up with her family is just what she needed.

Residing at their Surrey home with her music producer husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters, Lexi, 14, and Hollie, eight, she confessed that being able to send some quality time with her hubby over the past few weeks, has been “brilliant”.

“This whole thing has been great for my marriage,” she explained.

“I know people are talking about it causing spikes in baby-making and divorce rates, but for us it has been brilliant.

“I’m too old for more babies but our relationship is stronger than ever. It’s all about the lockdown loving.”

She added: “You’d never know it, because whenever I post photos online Chris refuses to be in them — or he takes them — but getting all this time together for once has been great.”

While on the subject of her husband refusing to partake in the family activities on-camera, she couldn’t help but have a pop.

Those who follow Amanda on social media are flooded with fun posts of her and her kids having a great time in the garden as the heatwave continues.

Whether it be messing around and cutting the lawn in her wedding dress or creating dance videos to a popular catchy tune, she seems to be thriving in the comfort of her own home.

But many fans have often wondered where Chris is while his three girls take centre stage in front of the camera.

The ITV star claimed he is “an absolute b****r” for choosing to avoid the spot-light on her social channels.

Telling the publication, she said: “Chris takes some of the videos of me, Lexi and Hollie, but he’s an absolute b****r because he won’t be in anything.

“You’d never know he was even here.”

Chris did make a rare appearance on his wife’s Instagram for the nationwide Clap for Carers last week.

The family of four stood outside their home as they took part in a celebratory applause for frontline workers in the NHS amid the coronavirus pandemic.
