He wasnt entertaining and after the fights he was just another UFC fighter. No Conor was too trashy and had no personality. McGregor probably would have been more enjoyable in a smaller card, especially with T-Mobile taking their place and a smaller audience. I liked the idea of M-Zo coming in and having an interesting card with the talent he already had on cards; however, it just got out of hand for some of the other cards. I also liked that DREAM showed up and put on a fun card featuring the likes of TJ Dillashaw, John Lineker, and Mike Perry. Also, it was a great idea to have a small card with a small group of talented fighters and an up and coming card that had a big name on it and got a lot more people attention; and with the added hype of Rage I thought it was great. The big name thing was a little odd, but thats what made it work to bring a lot more people to the card; and I really liked the idea of Ronda Rousey making her return for the fight and it probably would have been better if she had done the womens bantamweight title vs. Womens featherweight title instead due to all the media hype, but I understand the companys logic. I was personally hoping for the Conor McGregor fight to be the first, since that was what got me into the UFC in the first place, but as I said, I wasnt sure if it was going to be a good idea so I had my own little card in mind first. Id have liked to have seen a bigger number of fights as well, but the quality was good and the talent was on the card, so I thought it would work.
