You enter a different shopping mallYou try a different mall, maybe if you have a better idea you can actually take it seriously. The other options are to use your own money and have a few drinks or to hire a cab. The taxi option is the best bet and you figure you might as well try it out now since you dont have much of an understanding of the situation. You look through your alcohol collection and luckily its mostly beer. You grab your wallet with your credit card for the taxi ride. The bus terminal is a long way from your apartment. Youre not sure if youre going to have time to walk there or if you should walk there. Walking takes the most time, so you decide that youll use the bus. You also need to figure out how to get to the subway station of that name. As you walk, you think about the food the mall has to offer. Does anyone actually buy these things unless theyre really desperate for food. Or are they just there in case you run out. You figure theyre probably filled with crap. You dont get lost; instead you take the bus that goes to that stop and wait for a few minutes until the bus gets there. When it does, you hop off the bus and proceed down the street until you reach your destination. Theres a taxi stand just beyond the entrance to the mall. You get a cab, pay the driver, and head up through the lift to get to your apartment. When you get to your flat, you find it quite empty. It doesnt look like the kind of place youd live, but you figure your parents could have given you new place to live. Upon entering your apartment, you have to use your shoulder to get up against the wall when opening and closing the door. You try to take a moment to breathe but cant help but be exhausted by the experience. You grab a magazine off your desk near your bed and turn on the TV with a flick of the remote. Its a Sunday night, so you imagine most of the people in town are going out to eat. Maybe youll get lucky and go eat dinner at Jack in the Box. A news anchor comes on showing you a picture of a man you dont recognize. Hes wearing a suit and looking fairly sober, but the man in the picture looks like hes been drinking. Just a guy who needed to take his kid to the doctor. He shows you a picture of a doctor, but the man in the picture looks way too old. You cant believe you were so.
