How much did Christine Quinn spend on her wedding?

Fans watched in awe as Quinn walked down the aisle in a black wedding dress, with fake snow falling over her and her guests.

She had real swans at the ceremony, which was held in a beautiful cathedral, and her guests loved all the intricate details.

Jason Oppenheim commented on how it was one of the best venues he had ever been to.

Quinn is known for her quirky and extravagant events, as she also held a ‘burgers and botox’ themed open house event.

Quinn’s wedding did not come cheap, but it was no problem for her millionaire husband who is retired from his tech job.

The star had two dresses to change into, as well as huge ice sculptures, and zebras at her engagement party.

Her event planner, Lisa Lafferty, featured in season three as she visited the couple to discuss plans.

Speaking to The Oprah Magazine, she said the couple did not necessarily have a budget for their big day.

She added: “It was absolutely over a million dollar wedding. We did everything custom and couture for her, because her style is kind of wild. We were able to take risks.”

Quinn had to have her dress black for the big day, as she wanted to stand out.

She worked with designer Galia Lahav to come up with two dresses in the space of two months.

There were some stand-out features which were left out of the footage from the wedding, including a lily of the valley floral arrangement.

She also opted for a faux thunderstorm as well as the fake snow, all of which would have cost a huge amount to set up.

The exact cost of her wedding has not been revealed, but viewers could see it was worth millions of dollars.

And Quinn has admitted her wedding was around the $1million (£763,000) mark – with her two dresses alone costing $50,000 (£38,000)

She said the snow was the most extravagant part of the wedding, and they had to have a fire marshal on site.

Quinn had also worked with a special effects company that works on Hollywood films to get the snow machine.

Other surprises included a black Victorian-style horse-drawn carriage, led by two black stallions.

The street leading up to the venue had to be closed off for the evening, which took even more planning.

She also installed a champagne wall, which was adorned with glasses of black champagne for guests.

Lafferty said the most expensive part of the wedding was the screens for the special effects, with the four costing $25,000 (£19,000) each.

The guests also clocked the real-life swans as soon as they walked into the venue.

The beautiful birds were perched on a raised platform during the cermony, and then another two black swans were introduced for the reception.

It took about 90 minutes to transform the venue from a white Winter Wonderland to a gothic reception.

Quinn had also thought about spending $10,000 to $15,000 (£7,000-£11,000) made of ice, but the idea was scrapped.
