Emmerdale real-life couple Jonny McPherson and Natalie J Robb are said to have parted ways after a year of being together.

The pair, who struck up a relationship during lockdown, split months ago, according to The Sun.

Jonny, 39, has moved out of 46 year old Natalie's house and is now living in his own boat with his new dog Molly.

OK! have contacted Natalie and Jonny's representatives for a comment.

The two, who play Moira Barton and Liam Cavanagh respectively, first got together during the first lockdown after they established a romantic connection during a charity trip abroad.

In June 2020, Natalie and Jonny were first reported to be in a relationship after they appeared together on a number of Zoom calls with their Emmerdale co-stars.

An insider told The Mirror at the time: "Natalie has had her fair share of romps as Moira but this time she's found love off screen. Everyone is so happy for them.

“Lockdown gave them some quality time together and they couldn't be happier. It's still early days but Natalie can't stop smiling.”

According to the publication, the couple were close friends for a number of years prior and enjoyed a trip to Lapland together just before Christmas.

Natalie confirmed the happy news during an appearance on Loose Women, telling the panel that she was dating her co-star.

The actress dropped the bombshell news to Loose Women panellists Christine Lampard, Janet Street-Porter, Brenda Edwards and Coleen Nolan in July last year.

After discussing her on-screen character's strenuous storyline where she's been a victim of a hit and run, the star opened up about her off-screen love life.

Wearing a grey T-shirt as she appeared on the video call, Natalie explained that she and Jonny have been a couple for months.

She said: "Yes, Jonny McPherson and I started to see each other or our first date was in mid-January and then we were just having a couple of dates in February and then obviously in March lockdown happened.

"We were together at the time that Boris Johnson announced it. So he's been kind of staying with me. They were saying it could be three weeks, it could be maybe six weeks and I was like, 'Oh okay!'"

Brenda then questioned: "So little details here, who asked who? How did it all sort of initiate?"

To which Natalie responded: "Actually we just kind of evolved because we did a charity where you go out with children who have cancer and you take them to Lapland. We were on that and it's a day trip – you go there and back in a day.

"From then on we just got to know each other better. I mean I'd worked with him and things but I just got to know him better and yeah it just went off from there."
