Kate Middleton Looks Incred in a White Suit to Celebrate Windrush Day

Kate Middleton and Prince William made a joint appearance this morning to honor Windrush Day, a holiday that commemorates the Afro-Caribbean migrants who arrived at the United Kingdom aboard the Empire Windrush ship amid the country’s post-World War II recovery.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stopped by Brixton House to meet with younger generations of the British Caribbean community and other diasporas who participate in ELEVATE, a program that works with schools, colleges, training organizations, and employers to open up the creative and cultural sector for youths in London.

For the occasion, Kate wore a white monochrome look consisting of a crisp Alexander McQueen suit paired with a matching top, pointed-toe heels, and a small Mulberry handbag. She accessorized with long gold-and-teal earrings featuring a geometric design by Chalk, a London-based jeweler.

Meanwhile, William looked elegant in a dark navy suit, white shirt, and bright blue-and-red tie.

During the visit, Kate and William were guided through ELEVATE’s filming and photography workshop, led by production agencies Iconic Steps and Oxygen Arts. They additionally spoke with young participants of the workshop about their future career aspirations.

The duchess is a known lover of photography, having picked up the hobby when she was young and furthering her interest in the craft by studying art history at St. Andrews University. She’s also known to occasionally get behind the camera; Kate has snapped the official birthday portraits of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
