Kerry Katona starts embryo freezing process as she plans family with fiancé Ryan

Kerry Katona has revealed that she and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney have started their embryo freezing process.

The singer, 42, is the mother of five children. She shares daughters Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 19, with her ex-husband Brian McFadden, and shares son Maxwell, 14, and daughter Heidi, 15, with her ex-husband Mark Croft.

Dylan-Jorge, eight, is Kerry's youngest child, who she shares with her late ex-husband George Kay.

Taking to her Instagram page, the former Atomic Kitten singer shared several snaps of an ultrasound and her laying on a hospital room bed.

Her caption read: "Sooooo last week we started the process of embryo freezing!! Happy to report I’ve got lots of eggs in my basket!

"Now @ryanmahoney_7 has a date with a cup and we go from there! @pallmallmedical and Dr Maiti have been absolutely amazing! Exciting times."

Taking to the comment section, many of 808,000 followers wished her and Ryan the best of luck on their journey.

One person said: "Wow this is amazing. Wish you all the positive vibes in the world."

A second wrote: "Excellent. So you opted for embryo freezing then? Best of luck with it all."

"Wish you all the luck in the world," another added.

And a fourth user commented: "Wow hope all goes well. Sending positive vibes for you both."

Back in September, Kerry hinted that she was ready for another child after a fan asked about the topic on Instagram.

She said in response: "Ooh, you never know. You never know.

"Why do you think I’m on the water? I’m joking. I’m joking! Or am I? No. Oh God, Molly and Lilly would kill me. I think they’d abandon me. They would. Molly’s already abandoned me."

Kerry then added: "Well Ryan said tonight’s the night. Lucky me."

Last year, the star also spoke about how she's open to surrogacy after having a difficult pregnancy with her last child.

She told New Magazine: "I'm one hundred per cent considering surrogacy but we want to move house first and get ourselves sorted.

"DJ basically died and I almost died. I think if I was to get pregnant, it would be selfish of me because if I were to die my children would be left without a mum.

"As much as I love Ryan and Ryan loves me, he would never put me through that."
