Just before Lauren Goodger welcomed baby Larose in July, she admitted that she’d cut ties with her family, including sister Nicola, after they had sadly all fallen out.

But it seems that becoming a mum has helped the star heal that rift – with Nicola, 38, posting a heartwarming message to Lauren on her 35th birthday last week.

And sources have now told new that the sisters are finally back in touch again.

“Nicola and Lauren’s relationship is great at the moment,” a source told new. “Nicola is a great mum and she’s so proud of how Lauren is handling motherhood.

“Larose definitely mended their relationship and they’re so happy to be close again.”

Nicola previously appeared on TOWIE and the half-sisters’ close bond was a key part of the show as she helped Lauren through her split from ex-fiancé and former co-star Mark Wright.

But last year, Lauren told us that being in the public eye had taken a toll on her relationship with Nicola – who is mum to Charlie, 17, and Ellie, 13 – and their wider family.

“I don’t talk to any of them and they don’t talk to me,” she explained. “They’re good people, I’m not going to slag them off. I just can’t have that in my life. I feel very hurt, upset and used at times. It’s a shame since coming into the public eye how much my relationships have changed with my family. It’s upsetting but I have to look after me.”

Lauren, who also has sister Rianna, 29, has had a turbulent relationship with her father Steve too.

But she revealed earlier this year that news of her pregnancy with partner Charles Drury, 23, caused him to reach out and they had cleared the air.

“All families have their ups and downs,” our source went on. “It’s hard when one sister is a mum and the other isn’t, as you live such different lifestyles.

“But Lauren becoming a mum has really shifted this dynamic and their relationship is now stronger than ever before.”
