Matt Lucas has poked fun at his weight loss transformation with a hilarious quip on social media.
The 48-year-old took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a funny joke about his slimmed-down appearance.
He remarked: “If I look thinner it’s because I’ve started doing intermittent farting.”
Matt’s fans found his tweet funny and took to the comments section to join in on the joke.
One follower laughed: “Amazing what getting rid of bloating does for the waistline.”

A second added: “Good. Continuous farting could lead to complications, especially when one partakes in public transport.”
Matt showed off his incredible transformation in 2022 when he fronted his final series of The Great British Bake Off before departing.
The comedian put his weight loss down to not wanting to die young, after both his dad and granddad died from heart attacks in their 50s.
He told The Sun: “My dad died when he was 52, very suddenly. His dad died, I think at 56, so I was looking at the law of averages.

“I was very big and I was getting bigger in the pandemic. Sort of not being very active, not really going out, not seeing people, just eating a lot.
“I was so big I couldn’t really fit on screen any more,” Matt told the publication.
The Little Britain star said he had dropped down three sizes, going from a double XXL to a medium after losing weight.
He goes for walks as he lives by a canal and doesn’t eat as much as he used to do before.
The BBC star expressed that he felt better in himself and relieved to lose the weight after changing his food habits.
Matt said he became obsessed with roast potatoes during lockdown, but he has now reduced his intake of the food item and eats his favourite foods in moderation.
As well as hosting Bake Off, Matt is best known for playing various roles on Little Britain and for playing a Nardole on Doctor Who.
