Nicola Peltz admits feeling hurt over belief she didnt want to wear Victoria design
Nicola Peltz Beckham has admitted it "hurt her feelings" when rumours swirled she refused to wear a wedding dress designed by her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.
In an interview with Grazia USA, the 27 year old model and actress, who recently walked the New York Fashion Week Runway with her husband, addressed rumours of the feud between herself and Victoria following her lavish £3million wedding to her Brooklyn, 23.
She said: "When I read things that say [things like] I was never planning on wearing a [Victoria Beckham] dress or things like that, it does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it's just not the truth. It's just a bit of a bummer when you're like, 'Oh, people think that,' but it's just not true."
Brooklyn, who joined his wife for the cover shoot and profile interview, echoed Nicola's sentiments.
"To be honest, my wife is obviously my first priority and I never want to see her upset ever," he told the magazine.
He continued: "When people do say ridiculous things, we just talk about it and we just move on. We have each other's back 100% and we just move on together."
Nicola, who said in the interview that the Beckhams are "great in-laws", added: "It's a shame when there's not more love, especially on the internet.
"I don't understand the whole hating on other people's Instagrams, but to each their own, I guess. I think it's really about surrounding yourself with really good people. I feel really lucky to have a good support system."
Rumours swirled of a feud between Nicola and Victoria shortly after the wedding, with reports of Nicola left in tears a with reports of Nicola left in tears on her wedding day after her mother-in-law was said to have stolen the limelight.
In the interview, Nicola explained that she didn't choose not to wear a wedding gown designed by her mother-in-law, rather implying that Victoria ghosted her ahead of the design process instead.
She said: "Well, I was planning on wearing Victoria's wedding dress. I was truly excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story."

"I thought, 'Oh, this is going to be so fun. One of my best friends and my mom.' We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn't hear anything.
"Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it. So, I spoke to my mom and Leslie, and I was like, 'Well, unfortunately, this can't happen, so what's the next step?'"
Following this, Nicola, her mother and best friend flew to Rome, where she found the 'fairytale' haute couture Valentino gown she wore on her big day.
