AMY GOODMAN: Were looking at climate change right now through a new documentary called The People vs. It chronicles the efforts of a small group of activists who have called themselves the Greenpeace 12 to block the construction of a tar sands pipeline. More than a hundred people have been arrested in actions against the Keystone XL. For more, were joined by three of the activists featured in this documentary. They were detained and accused of trespassing on private property during a recent protest against the planned construction of the TransCanada Keystone XL. The films co-directors are Jeremy Scahill and Ken Ward. Ken Ward joins us from the Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon. We welcome you both to Democracy Now.
