Robert De Niro Injured On Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’

Robert De Niro has suffered a leg injury while working on director Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. Deadline confirmed the injury, but had no details on what happened or the injury’s severity.

De Niro was headed home today from Oklahoma to New York and will seek medical attention, sources said.

The injury prognosis has postponed production for Friday. But it’s unclear whether a longer-term delay will happen because of the injury. One source close to the production indicated De Niro was not injured on the set and that there will be no delays in filming.

The Apple Original film is based on a book by David Grann and concerns a series of murders in 1920s Oklahoma. Before De Niro’s injury, it was expected to wrap later this year or early in 2022. The film stars De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons and Lily Gladstone.
