Sunday Brunch host Simon Rimmer, 57, was teased by his Channel 4 colleague Tim Lovejoy, 52, after speaking about his love for bagpipes last week. The TV presenter took the opportunity to ask the chef whether he liked “the accordion” at the start of the conversation.
So you don’t have the nerve.
This comes after last Sunday’s show saw one guest play the accordion after they decided to start practicing the instrument in lockdown.
Simon introduced their guest by saying: “Char has been learning to play the accordion for the last six weeks with 10 minutes of practice a day.
“She says it’s so difficult, even for her, and she’s a music teacher.”
“Here she is,” Simon added.

Soon after she finished her performance, Tim started to clap and announce: “That’s not easy. That’s not easy,” to which Simon chipped in with: “Very good.”
In response, Tim cheekily asked the chef: “Do you like the accordion Simon?” to which he hit back with: “No.”
While Tim was shocked with his pal’s reply, the presenter yelled: “What?!”
However, Simon went on to clarify by stating: “No no I love it, Tim.
“I don’t want to get the accordion society onto me, I love it,” he added sarcastically.
Viewers shortly saw Tim carry on by announcing: “Keep sending our videos to @Sunday BrunchC4 or [email protected], so you don’t have the nerve to take on the bagpipes,” which left the pair in hysterics.
Meanwhile, the TV chef opened up on Twitter earlier this month and revealed how he was “left in pieces” after binge-watching BBC Three series Normal People.
Simon wrote to his 270,000 Twitter followers: “Oh my word Normal People @bbcthree is incredible.

Later on that evening, fans saw the Strictly Come Dancing star share his reaction after watching the whole series.
“Ok @NormalPeopleBBC @DaisyEdgarJones @mescal_paul I have watched all 12 eps today,” Simon wrote.
He went on to confess: “Just finished now. Am in pieces.

Not long after Simon voiced his opinion, fans waded in to express their thoughts on the hit series.
One fan commented: “I binged 1-9 last night – felt my heart breaking.”
Another similarly wrote: “Finished it last night, have tried to describe it to other people but just can’t seem to find words that do it justice.”
Sunday Brunch continues today at 9.30am on Channel 4.
