Stacey Dooley shows off bright new hair after chopping off signature long locks

Stacey Dooley showed off her striking new bob haircut as she was spotted leaving a recording studio in London on Tuesday.

The presenter stood out in the sun as she was pictured walking the streets sporting her latest ‘do coloured her signature bright auburn shade.

Stacey was seen dressed cool and casually in a black oversized sweatshirt with white stitching across the neckline and cuffs and wore pair of blue boyfriend jeans and black quilted open toe sandals.

The Strictly Come Dancing winner added a gold chain necklace to accessorize her daytime look along with a pair of black sunglasses and a Perspex shoulder bag that had a chain strap.

Stacey first let her 1 million followers know that she had ditched her long locks on Instagram on Monday as she posted a photo of herself sitting in a white tank top and dark blue wide leg jeans whilst modelling her new cut.

"Me and @clairol_uk_ire have been BUSY," the TV host captioned.

"We freshened up my colour (obvs using my shade 8WR golden auburn) and then chopped it all off. I'm SOOOOO delighted with it!"

Stacey uploaded the makeover post in advertisement with hair care company Clairol, for whom she is a Nice’n Easy ambassador.

It didn’t take long for her famous friends to compliment her on the blunt bob, with Laura Whitmore writing in the comment section: “I love it”, as Ashley Roberts added: “obsessed”, followed by a series of fire emojis form Zoe Ball.

Other followers also praised Stacey for her latest look as one fan wrote: "wow, LOVE the short hair", while another said: "You’re making me want to chop my hair too. You look amazing".

Stacey’s dramatic new hairstyle change comes as the presenter turned 35 this month.

She celebrated the occasion by hosting a birthday dinner at her and boyfriend Kevin Clifton ’s home with the couple’s close friends and gave fans an insight into the get together on Instagram.

Posting a photo of herself stood next to Kevin followed by a shot of their decked out dining room table, Stacey captioned: "3 blaaaady 5 So so much to be grateful for."

In other snaps that were also uploaded, the dining table appeared full with birthday guests and a silver 35 balloon was seen floating above a radiator, while other pics showed Stacey appearing to have a great time as she posed with friends.
