Stacey Solomon shows off matching wedding dress with baby daughter after wedding
Stacey Solomon has shared with fans the matching dresses she and her baby daughter Rose wore at her wedding.
Stacey, 32, married Joe Swash, 40, last weekend at their £1.3 million Essex home at Pickle Cottage in a stunning ceremony in front of close family and friends.
Stacey looked incredible as the bride, wearing an off-the-shoulder gown with corsetry detailing and a billowing floor-length skirt, and has now revealed what her daughter Rose wore alongside her mum at the ceremony.
The newlywed posted a black-and-white photo on Instagram Stories of her wedding dress beside her daughter’s dress, as she wrote: "I hung mine and Rose's wedding dresses up in my bedroom and every time I walk in to go to bed my heart just bursts.
“Her dress was made from the off cut of mine. I would wear it every day if socially acceptable."
The picture showed baby Rose’s little dress including the same tulle skirt as her mum’s gown, with silk fabric and frills comprising the chest panel and shoulder straps.
Stacey and Joe welcomed their daughter Rose last year and also share three year old son Rex.
Stacey was sustainable throughout the preparations for her wedding, as she shared with followers her repurposing furniture and decorations for the ceremony in the weeks prior.
The Loose Women star revealed to fans ahead of her nuptials her plans to use part of her dress as Rose’s outfit for the wedding.
Posting a black-and-white snap of her daughter’s bridal shoes at the time, Stacey wrote on Instagram Stories: "Rose’s dress is being made from the off cuts of my dress.
"So I wanted to make her some shoes to match mine. So I brought glittery bows from Etsy and stuck them on her baby shoes [well-up-eye emoji] Now we fully match”, with a crying face emoji added.
Over the weekend, Stacey told fans she’d began packing up her wedding decorations, which she planned to send to various different charities.
Posting a video of the process, Stacey wrote: "We have cleaned down all the tables and chairs & they're ready to be donated.
"We wanted to spread the donations across different charities so if you know any refugees, organisations or charities that need furniture, glassware & lanterns etc please share them with me and I'll get to as many as possible."
Stacey also shared that she “can’t wait for the wedding photos”, as she didn’t allow guests to use their phones for pictures at the nuptials.
