Lorraine Kelly, 61, has fumed after watching a clip on Twitter of anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist Piers Corbyn, 74, ripping down social distancing signs on the London Underground. The ITV host labelled the brother of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, a “total k**b”.
In a video that has been widely shared on social media, Piers can be seen going along a carriage on the Piccadilly Line removing the safety messages that have been placed there by staff.
As he tears the stickers from the carriage walls he can be heard saying: “They didn’t keep their distance at the G7 did they”, referring to the global leaders who got closer than current guidelines would appear to allow at the summit in Cornwall earlier this month.
“Boris lied to us so we’re taking things down ourselves,” he says as he removes a third sticker.
A maskless Piers walked down the carriage looking for more stickers to remove as many masked passengers sit awkwardly.
One Twitter user retweeted the footage and typed: “Wonder if he’s any good at stripping wallpaper if so I have a job for him.”
In response, Lorraine snapped: “Total k**b.”
Some fans agreed with the 60-year-old as they praised her for “saying it like it is”.
One commented: “Why is no one stopping him?”
While a second said: “Lorraine tells it like it is. Gotta luv ‘er!” (sic)
A third typed: “How disrespectful to people who have paid the ultimate price due to Covid and to the families they have left behind.”
However, some agreed with Piers as they claimed the ITV host had “peddled fear” over the past year.
A fourth remarked: “Lorraine has peddled fear based on no/little or incorrect science for the last year and now is angry that someone is not believing it.”

The British Transport Police replied to a tweet posting the video to confirm that they are aware of Pier’s actions and are looking into it.
They tweeted: “Hello. We are aware of this incident and are currently investigating.”
Piers has publicly broken social distancing rules many times in recent months and organised anti-lockdown protests in London.
The brother of the former Labour leader has been spotted squatting in the disused HMV on Oxford Street, leaning from windows and holding protest banners.
Two weeks ago, he was pictured waving a Palestinian flag from the windows of the premises, which were also used to hold anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine protests.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they were aware of individuals squatting in the building.
A spokesperson from the Met told MyLondon: “Police are aware of squatters at disused retail premises in Oxford Street.
“Officers were called to the location at around 2015hrs on Saturday, June 5.
“There is no evidence at this stage of any criminal offences having been committed.”
