<\/p>\nBritney Spears reportedly remains estranged from many of her family members, but at least one appears to be back in her good graces: her older brother Bryan Spears.<\/p>\n
The 41-year-old pop superstar has been leaning on her 46-year-old sibling in recent days, Page Six\u00a0reported on Monday.<\/p>\n
Sources told the publication that Bryan has been spending time with Britney and helping her move on from her recent separation from her husband Sam Asghari, who has since filed for divorce.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bryan has been helping out after sources close to Britney worried that she was left without a support system\u00a0after Sam moved out and she pushed her mother Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn out of her life after briefly appearing to reconcile with them earlier this summer.<\/p>\n
‘He\u2019s been staying over and helping her alongside a therapist,’ and insider said of Spears’ brother.<\/p>\n

A lifeline: Britney’s family previously worried that she was without an support after Sam moved out and she remained estranged from her mother and younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears<\/p>\n
They opined that his presence was ‘a great thing for all of’ the Spears’ family.<\/p>\n
A source previously told Page Six\u00a0that Britney had not fully reconciled with her mother Lynne, despite her visit in May, and she was said to still be ‘very angry’ with her younger sister Jamie Lynn, despite Instagram posts that seemed to suggest they had buried the hatchet.<\/p>\n
Curiously, another source claimed that ‘Britney and Jamie Lynn never met up’ on the set of Jamie Lynn’s streaming movie Zoey 102, despite Spears claiming that she visited the set in June.<\/p>\n
The presence of a therapist may have also helped put Britney’s family at ease, particularly in the wake of a failed intervention that was meant to be put on by Sam and her manager.<\/p>\n
They intended to confront the toxic singer about her increasingly erratic behavior earlier this year amid fears that she might ‘die.’<\/p>\n
In February, TMZ\u00a0reported that they feared some medicines she was taking were ‘hyp[ing] her up’ so that she was ‘flying off the handle,’ though it wasn’t clear if those drugs were prescribed by a medical professional.<\/p>\n
Multiple sources also claimed that she had stopped taking medications intended to stabilize her mood, which made it easier for her to be in excited and agitated states for extended periods of time.<\/p>\n
Prior to the report that Bryan and a therapist were spending time with Britney, she was said to be ‘isolated’ at her Thousand Oaks mansion.<\/p>\n
The songstress also doesn’t have her children Jayden, 17, and Sean Preston, 16, to rely on after they moved to Hawaii with their father Kevin Federline amid a string of unhinged \u2014 and frequently semi-nude \u2014 social media posts from their mother.<\/p>\n
Bryan may have helped get himself back into Britney’s good graces by staying out of the spotlight, in contrast to his mother and younger sister, who have both been more open about their struggles with resurrecting their relationships with Britney.<\/p>\n
He appears to have only spoken about his sister and her frustration over her years-long and now-defunct conservatorship during a July 2020 appearance on the As Not Seen On TV podcast.<\/p>\n
‘She\u2019s always wanted to get out of [the conservatorship],’ he said at the timing, echoing Britney’s own statements.<\/p>\n
‘It\u2019s very frustrating to have. Whether someone\u2019s coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating,’ he added.<\/p>\n
