Foo Fighters<\/b> frontman Dave Grohl<\/b> and Taylor Hawkins<\/b>‘ son Shane Hawkins<\/b> joined Chevy Metal<\/b> for classic rock covers on August 21 at the Rock N Roll Pizza Bar in Simi Valley, California.<\/p>\n
Chevy Metal is the cover band previously helmed by late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.<\/p>\n
Grohl and Chevy Metal performed the Police<\/b>‘s “Next to You,” the Rolling Stones<\/b>‘ “Bitch,” Van Halen<\/b>‘s “Everybody Wants Some!!,” “Jamie’s Cryin’,” and “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love,” Spinal Tap<\/b>‘s “Jazz Odyssey,” Led Zeppelin<\/b>‘s “Moby Dick,” Queen<\/b>‘s “Tie Your Mother Down,” The Kinks<\/b>‘ “You Really Got Me,” and AC\/DC<\/b>‘s “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.”<\/p>\n
Taylor died in March 2022 in Bogota, Colombia, due to a reported cardiovascular collapse at the age of 50.<\/p>\n
