Rachel knew this all too well following her huge success in S Club and award-winning solo career.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI was always, for people who are performers who go on, there is a certain expectation that you should\u00a0be brilliant at it because you have danced before. I remember really feeling that back in the day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI was so incredibly out of my comfort zone because, performing on a pop stage is very different to performing with a partner in a ballroom hold.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is so different, it’s such a different way of performing. I was never a trained dancer so this was a different kettle of fish altogether.\u201d<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n As for her advice for this year\u2019s contestants, the Sweet Dreams My LA Ex singer urged them all to \u201cgo for it\u201d.<\/p>\n She enthused: \u201cSoak up every minute, throw yourself fully into it, embrace all the sparkles and just have fun.<\/p>\n \u201cNo matter if you are a great dancer or not, I think it’s great to see how people grow in the competition and it’s nice to see the dynamic between couples. It’s such a brilliant show.\u00a0<\/p>\n It comes as Rachel has teamed up with Activia to raise awareness of the role our gut health plays when it comes to overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n The mum-of-two wants to inspire people to look after themselves from the inside out, particularly as 47 percent of people don\u2019t know where to start when it comes to looking at gut health.<\/p>\n Explaining why she got involved, Rachel continued: \u201cFor a long time, I’ve been really passionate about our wellness and how important our gut health is and how it fuels our health\u00a0in every way from our energy levels to our sleep to the way we eat.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI try and [stay healthy],\u00a0eating really clean with lots of protein, good quality food as well, lots of fibre, lots of fruit and veg and also trying to get back into a better sleep pattern.”<\/p>\n
