Speaking about this year\u2019s lineup of Strictly Come Dancing, the Brendan Cole opened up about getting to know Glitterball contender, Family Fortunes presenter Les Dennis.<\/p>\n
Strictly pro Brendan called him \u201ca lovely, charming man\u201d but hinted that the pressure of the series could have an impact on Les, who may find it \u201coverwhelming”.<\/p>\n
He explained: \u201cI know Les [Dennis] \u2013 I did a TV show with him where we walked for three weeks in Italy and he\u2019s a lovely, charming man and I spoke with him when he first signed up. He called me \u2013 I think he wanted to pick my brains.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have two things with Les \u2013 he\u2019s been in entertainment for such a long time so he knows how it works, he knows all about cameras, he knows all about saying and doing the right things, but when you\u2019re put into a situation like Strictly, where it\u2019s so pressurised \u2013 Les is quite an emotional fella. In fact, one of the most emotional people I\u2019ve ever met,\u201d he added to Sky Bingo.<\/p>\n
