I thought, &#8216;Hang on, he&#8217;s with my dad. Very weird that he would be calling me, not my dad. So I&#8217;ll answer it,&#8217; he recalled.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/00\/76911589-12695553-Shane_Warne_was_found_unresponsive_in_his_villa_in_Thailand_at_a-a-105_1698800256711.jpg\" height=\"636\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Shane Warne&#8217;s son Jackson, 24, (left) has recalled the life-changing moment he learned his cricket legend father (right) had died aged 52 while holidaying with friends in Thailand\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After putting down the phone, Jackson said he burst into tears before sitting in silence for hours.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll ever be able to probably forget where I was or what I was doing,&#8217; he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Because all you get is a phone call, and then when you hang up the phone call, your life that you&#8217;ve been living your entire life, everything you ever knew&#8230; just gets completely flipped upside down.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/00\/77249931-12695553-image-a-107_1698800338450.jpg\" height=\"792\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to SAS Australia star Ant Middleton &#8216;s Head Game podcast this week, Jackson revealed he learned of his father&#8217;s death after one of Shane&#8217;s travel buddies called him with the grim news\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/01\/77250017-12695553-The_Australian_spin_king_died_suddenly_from_a_suspected_heart_at-m-111_1698800847246.jpg\" height=\"461\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Australian spin king died suddenly from a suspected heart attack aged March 4 2022 while holidaying with mates in Koh Samui, Thailand\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Jackson shared a heartbreaking confession about how he has been coping with the loss.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m still convinced &#8211; and it might sound crazy&#8230; that I&#8217;ll at least have one conversation with my dad again. I don&#8217;t know whether it will be in a dream, or somewhere,&#8217; he confessed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Because there&#8217;s no way I won&#8217;t be able to talk to him about poker or Saint Kilda football club, or any of the hobbies that we used to do all the time. There&#8217;s no way I won&#8217;t be able to talk to him about it.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/01\/77250013-12695553-After_putting_down_the_phone_Jackson_said_he_burst_into_tears_be-a-7_1698801246012.jpg\" height=\"790\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>After putting down the phone, Jackson said he burst into tears before sitting in silence for hours. &#8216;I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll ever be able to probably forget where I was or what I was doing,&#8217; he said<\/p>\n<p>Shane was<span>\u00a0found unconscious in his hotel room at the Samujana Villas resort, Thailand, on March 4, 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The grim discovery was made by his manager and friend Andrew Neophitou, who had gone to Shane&#8217;s hotel room before a planned dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Neophitou desperately tried to revive him by performing CPR for 20 minutes &#8211; but he couldn&#8217;t be saved and later died in hospital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/00\/76911583-12695553-Jackson_spoke_about_his_father_s_death_on_Instagram_He_described-a-103_1698800248993.jpg\" height=\"550\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Jackson shared a heartbreaking confession about how how he has been coping with the loss. &#8216;I&#8217;m still convinced &#8211;
