I'm A Celebrity viewers think they've caught Marvin Humes sending secret signals to his family back home.

Fans flocked to social media, convinced that the JLS singer was making subtle gestures to his wife and kids watching his jungle journey on TV.

Marvin was spotted tapping his fist on his heart when he knew the ITV cameras would be on him as the names of those facing the Bushtucker trials were read out.

His wife, This Morning presenter Rochelle and their children Alaia-Mai, 10, and Valentina, six, and three year old son Blake were sure to be watching on opening night and some think star didn't waste the opportunity to communicate with them.

Viewers raced to twitter to let everyone know they were on to Marvin and quickly found out they weren't alone in their observations.

One put: "Marvin is already doing his secret hand sign to home." Another was equally as convinced, saying: "Awhhh seems like Marvin is tapping his heart to show Rochelle how much he loves her. He must miss his family so much already."

A third put: "Secret signal from Marvin 100%."

Like a number of the other camp-mates, he made a terrifying entrance on Sunday night as the Australian jungle welcomed the stars as as I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off.

Marvin faced the skydive – of course after perhaps unwisely revealing his fear of heights, but as he touched down on the ground, he was full of exhilaration.

The TV star confessed that his decision to join the show might have been due to a midlife crisis. However, the 38 year old presenter was eager to assure everyone that he is fully committed to making his children proud, especially after discovering a touching note hidden in his suitcase.

Marvin told the Mirror: "When I left Rochelle and the kids wrote a note and stuck it in my suitcase which I found yesterday."

He went on to say: "It said how much they loved me and told me how proud of me they are. My 10-year-old [Alaia-Mai] said, 'Daddy, I'm so proud of you conquering your fears, just don't say no to anything and do your best.'

"That's from my 10-year-old. You know, so, so sweet that she's telling me to conquer my fears and get stuck in. I just want to make them proud."

He added: "My 10-year-old said to Rochelle that she doesn't like going on roller coasters. And when we left she said: 'Daddy because you're doing this and conquering your fear, when you get out, I want to conquer my fear and I want to go on a roller coaster with you'."
