Dolly Parton‘s younger sister Stella Parton has slammed those who were critical of Dolly dressing up in a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader outfit for her performance during halftime at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 23rd.

“I personally thought my big sister Dolly was cute as hell in her Dallas Cowboys cheerleading costume at the half time show on Thanksgiving,” Stella wrote on X. “To those of you being so critical of a 77 year old kicking up her heels, I say f**k yourself. Shame on you not her.”

During halftime at the Cowboys’ showdown against the Washington Commanders, Dolly Parton, wearing a low-cut crop top, hot pants, and a fringe jacket, along with some bedazzled pantyhose, performed classics like “Jolene” and “9 to 5” as well as covers of Queen‘s “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You” in support of her new album Rockstar.
