I’m A Celeb’s Sam Thompson accuses Nigel Farage of ‘throwing him under the bus’ as they come to blows after burning the rice as camp chefs<\/h1>\n

The cooking drama continued on Thursday night’s I’m A Celebrity as Sam Thompson and Nigel Farage came to blows over some burnt rice.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Politician Nigel, 59,\u00a0was made sous chef by camp leader Danielle Harold on the latest instalment.<\/p>\n

At dinner time Nigel said to Sam: ‘I’ve put the rice on and it’s reducing slowly. There’s enough water in there for the moment.’<\/p>\n

Then lying down, Made In Chelsea star Sam, 31, said: ‘I can sort of chill’ before Nigel reassured him: ‘That should be fine for a few minutes.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Later in the Bush Telegraph Nigel said: ‘Everybody was asleep. I thought, ‘Well look, we’ve got to get the rice on.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The cooking drama continued on Thursday night’s I’m A Celebrity as Sam Thompson and Nigel Farage came to blows over some burnt rice<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Politician Nigel, 59, was made sous chef by camp leader Danielle Harold on the latest instalment.<\/p>\n

‘So I put the rice on, the water’s reducing in the rice and soon it’s going to be done.’<\/p>\n

Sam had fallen asleep but woke up smelling the rice as he said: ‘Why does this smell like it’s burning?’<\/p>\n

After ascertaining it was indeed burnt, Sam in the Bush Telegraph said: ‘I don’t know if I’ve burnt the rice. I don’t know who has burnt the rice.’<\/p>\n

Nigel then said: ‘Sam, I did say to you it was reducing. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. He’s ruined the rice.’<\/p>\n

Sam then replied: ‘I thought you had it’ to which Nigel retorted:\u00a0‘I said to you, it’s reducing.’<\/p>\n

In the Bush Telegraph Danielle moaned: ‘Sam and Nigel not doing so great in the kitchen. They have both burnt that rice.’<\/p>\n

Sam later tried it and said: ‘It’ll do. It tastes like burnt popcorn.’<\/p>\n

Boxer Tony Bellew in camp said of the incident: ‘You had one job Sam. You’re head chef. You fell asleep on the job.’<\/p>\n

Nigel then replied to him: ‘To be fair, he has taken full responsibility’, before Sam rallied, saying: ‘I think it’s going to be lovely.’<\/p>\n

Marvin in the Bush Telegraph explained: ‘One’s blaming the other, Sam’s blaming Nigel, Nigel’s blaming Sam.’<\/p>\n

Sam then admitted: ‘Communication was lacking.’<\/p>\n

Sam then added in camp: ‘Nige, threw me right under the bus. I’m almost certain I didn’t hear him say, ‘Can you watch over it? But as head chef, I’m taking responsibility.’<\/p>\n

It comes after\u00a0Nick Pickard\u00a0became the fourth I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate to back Sam Thompson for 2023 King of the Jungle.<\/p>\n

The Hollyoaks actor, 48, was eliminated from the Australian camp during Wednesday’s episode after going up against Josie Gibson in the bottom two.<\/p>\n

After his exit, he joined hosts Ant and Dec to speak about his time in the jungle, and he was asked who he wants to see crowned the 2023 winner as just six stars remain.<\/p>\n

Nick, best known for playing\u00a0Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks, showed his support for Sam, 31, as he shared his hopes for the\u00a0Made In Chelsea star’s victory.<\/p>\n

He said: ‘[Sam] deserves it, well they all deserve it, but he does and I think he really wants to win… Sam’s the lifeblood in there, it wouldn’t be the same without him, he’s got so much energy.’<\/p>\n

Nick is the fourth campmate to have backed Sam as the 2023 winner, as all three previously eliminated campmates also backed the TV personality for the crown.<\/p>\n

Frankie Dettori was the first campmate to be eliminated in the public vote and admitted he thinks Sam will take home the top prize this year.<\/p>\n

He said: ‘My bet would be Sam. He brings a lot to the table, he\u2019s entertaining, he is silly, he sings, he is happy and I think what people is going to like about him is all of that. That \u2026 to me is the winner.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nella Rose was the next star to be voted out of the jungle, and she too said:\u00a0‘I think Sam should be King of the Jungle, he has wanted to do this since he was a kid.’<\/span><\/p>\n

Fred Sirieix left camp on Tuesday after the third public vote and once again bet on Sam to make it all the way in this year’s series.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sam has become a firm fan favourite on the smash hit ITV reality show, with viewers being won over by his bubbly personality and enthusiasm.<\/span><\/p>\n

As well as his campmates backing him,\u00a0bookies have also been predicting that he will take home the crown\u00a0this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Campmates and viewers alike will just have to wait a matter of days before finding out who will be crowned winner as the countdown for Sunday’s final begins.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just six stars now remain in the camp following four public votes, while Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent both quit the show early on separate medical\u00a0grounds.<\/p>\n

Nick became the fourth campmate to be eliminated from the jungle on Wednesday, and fans were left shocked by his exit.<\/p>\n

Fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter –\u00a0to admit they were ‘gutted’ that he had been booted out of the camp.<\/p>\n

One wrote: ‘Gutted that Nick has gone,’ and another said: ‘If it was another year Nick would have won, what a lovely man.’<\/p>\n

It comes after Nick Pickard became the fourth I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! campmate to back Sam Thompson for 2023 King of the Jungle\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Sam has become a firm fan favourite on the smash hit ITV reality show, with viewers being won over by his bubbly personality and enthusiasm\u00a0<\/p>\n

A third penned: ‘Ohhh I liked Nick. Gutted,’ while a fourth tweeted: ‘Nick hadn’t left, it’s a dream and I want to wake up now.’<\/p>\n

A fifth said: ‘Nick deserved better,’ and another commented: ‘Bye Nick but I’m happy it’s not Josie.’<\/p>\n

One admitted: ‘So glad Josie is still there,’ while another vowed: ‘I’m gonna start voting for Josie now,’ after she ended up in the bottom two.<\/p>\n

Some fans also shared their disbelief that Nick had been voted out before controversial politician and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aside from family, what will you miss most whilst in camp?:<\/span> Snacking. I am a little muncher and I am going to miss my morning cup of tea, too!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best & worst attributes:<\/span> I\u2019d like to think I will be good if people are really struggling. I am not, however, very good at being bored, nor am I a morning person either.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dream camper:<\/span> Ed Sheeran. If he brings his guitar into camp, he can sing for us.<\/p>\n

Phobias:<\/span> I am a bit scared of the dark. When you go to the House of Horrors at Halloween and things jump out at you, I am not very good when I can\u2019t see!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the jungle:<\/span> It will be nice to go in as me and not as my Hollyoaks character.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Role in camp: <\/span>Grafter or chef, I am quite good at cooking. But I\u2019ve never cooked on a fire before. Aside from family, what will you miss most whilst in camp: Football and my creature comforts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best & worst attributes:<\/span> I\u2019d like to think I am a nice person and a good team player. I am not lazy but I do have a few bad habits like picking my nose. My girlfriend has been trying to train me to stop!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aside from your family, what will you miss the most whilst in camp?<\/span>\u00a0Travelling. I have spent my whole life at airports and I\u2019ve got to like it!<\/p>\n

Best & worst attributes:<\/span>\u00a0I am outgoing and I am a fighter. Worst? I can\u2019t sit still and I am impatient.<\/p>\n

Dream camper:<\/span>\u00a0Robbie Williams would be fun.<\/p>\n

Aside from family, what will you miss the most whilst in camp? <\/span>A normal bathroom, air conditioning and my bed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best & worst attributes:<\/span> I think my best quality is it takes a lot to hurt my feelings; but I am impatient and my family would say I get in a bad mood a lot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dream camper: <\/span>Nicole Kidman, she is my favourite actress in the whole wide world, or Reece Witherspoon.<\/p>\n

Phobias:<\/span> I am not a creepy crawly guy and I hate anyone or anything touching my neck.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the jungle?:<\/span> Since the age of 21, I\u2019ve spent my whole life on TV and so I feel whether people have a good or bad opinion of me, it\u2019s probably warranted!<\/p>\n

Role in camp:<\/span> I\u2019m a \u2018yes\u2019 man so cooking, cleaning I will do whatever they want me to do.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aside from family, what will you miss most whilst in camp?<\/span>: I know this sounds lame but gaming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best & worst attributes:<\/span> I\u2019d like to think I am the court jester and I don\u2019t take things too seriously, so if anyone is having a bad day I would like to put a smile on their face. Worst? I am quite forgetful and I am bad at focusing on things.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dream camper: <\/span>Stephen Fry. I think I would self-combust if he was going in the jungle!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best & worst attributes:<\/span> I\u2019ve got three children under the age of ten and you definitely need a lot of patience for that! Worst? Rochelle would probably say I get \u2018hangry\u2019 if I don\u2019t have enough food.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dream camper:<\/span> Paddy McGuinness \u2013 I\u2019ve done Soccer Aid with him before and I know he\u2019s funny, he gets stuck in and he is hands on.<\/p>\n
